About Me

Hi, I’m Sheava.

My style is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I’ll help you make connections between what you’re experiencing now and the deeper patterns that may be driving it—while also giving you practical ways to create change. I preach self compassion (laced with some humor), am direct (when needed), and promise not to smile and nod while constantly asking you “how does that make you feel?”  I gently challenge you to debunk certain thought patterns and behaviors that don’t serve you, while champion you and encourage you to try new ways that do serve you.

My work is rooted in an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach, with EMDR incorporated when appropriate. I’m especially interested in the ways our earliest relationships shape how we see ourselves, what we expect from others, and how we respond when we feel hurt, anxious, or disconnected.

My clients are insightful, capable people who may understand why they feel the way they do, but still find themselves repeating the same patterns. That’s often where our work begins: moving beyond insight alone and helping you actually experience something different.

My goal is not to change who you are. It’s to help you understand yourself more deeply, heal what continues to get in the way, and reconnect with the resilience that has been there all along.
